A deep appreciation for regional bounty and culinary traditions is evident throughout Fifth Floor. Renowned Chef Laurent Manrique’s passion, creative vision and classical training have once again distinctly and deliciously changed Bay Area dining.

Long-admired for his culinary talents by the team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Manrique was brought on board for the Fifth Floor as Culinary Director. The union was result of an auspicious meeting between Manrique, his business partner Christopher Condy and Kimpton, whereby Manrique expressed his interest in creating a restaurant to honor his native Gascony.

The results are memorable. Stop in for a drink in the adjacent lounge, share a small bite of Gascony with friends, or settle in for a multi-course, multi-sensory dinner.
